SAS Charity Beach Bootcamp brings hundreds of people together on the sand for a free 45-minute workout; this round taken on by the MF60 cohort, with every donation going straight to Feeding Families.
No membership required, no sign-up fee, no pressure to give anything at all. You show up, you train alongside everyone else, and if you want to donate afterwards, you can.
Built to push everyone in the same direction, regardless of fitness level or experience.
Beach sprints and distance work in the sand; harder underfoot than anything you'd do on a road or a track, and over before you know it.
Press-ups, burpees, crawls, jumps and team tug of war, all using nothing but the sand and your own bodyweight. No equipment, no excuses.
The session closes with a final push designed to test what's left when the body wants to stop; the part everyone remembers afterwards.
Photos from past events; drop your images in to fill out the gallery below.
The session opens with sand-based running; sprints, shuttles and distance work that gets everyone moving together from the first whistle.
A bodyweight circuit using only the sand and your own effort; press-ups, crawls, jumps and team tug of war throughout.
The closing stretch, designed to push past the point most people would normally stop; the part of the session everyone remembers.
There’s no cost to take part. If you’d like to support Feeding Families afterwards, you’ll have the chance to donate on the day.
